Android 7.1.1
« on: December 14, 2016, 12:35:47 PM »
My tablet received the final version of Android 7.1.1 overnight. I'm rather liking the long-press-the-app-icon to indicate intent when launching an app feature.

I wish I still had my Nexus instead of my iphone SE. Android is far superior, I think. Simpler, anyway.

Driod works great for me. I get the same as the top end iPhone for 250 USD.
Keeps me happy, for me Droid is more useful cos of the flying apps and offline mapping systems, other than those I'd probably go for an iPhone if I was very rich.

I actually liked my Nexus 5 (though on it only a short time) and am recommending the new version 5x with OS 6 or 7 to a relative since she happens to like large screens.
The new Huawei p9, even fitted with a great Leica lens, doesn't get full network coverage on Docomo, and that was a deal breaker for my daughter.
